After gaining experience in various fields of law including corporate employment law and media law in a Legal 500 specialist firm, Sophia joined the firm in March 2017.

Sophia works closely with a range of clients including high net-worth individuals and SMEs and assists senior fee earners of the firm in managing clients’ complex, high-value multi million pound financial services litigation, tax disputes and investigations, commercial and company matters and costs and detailed assessment proceedings.

Within the first year of her training contract, Sophia achieved optimal results for clients in a range of insolvency cases including successfully defending winding-up petitions and obtaining costs awards for the company on an indemnity basis. She regularly advocates for individuals and companies in the County Court in debt claims and bankruptcy matters and aspires to qualify as a Solicitor-Advocate with rights of audience before all courts in England and Wales.

Sophia prides herself on building relationships with a range of clients using her commercial awareness to support them in their legal matters. Sophia also works closely with other members of the team to promote CSR within the firm.
