Karim is a partner in the firm and practises as a solicitor in complex litigation matters with a specialism in costs matters. He acts for a range of clients in high-value litigation against banks and financial services institutions, tax disputes, professional negligence claims, company disputes, costs, debt recovery, insolvency matters and property litigation.
Karim holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from City University, London and obtained a Distinction on the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. He trained with the firm starting out as a paralegal in December 2012 and qualified as a Solicitor in May 2017. He plays an important role at the firm and through example has been an inspiration to junior colleagues who are also making the transition from being a paralegal to training as a solicitor.
Karim also regularly advocates in matters in the County Court, High Court and Senior Courts Costs Office and is currently pursuing a further Masters of Laws (LLM) and full Higher Rights of Audience qualification at the University of Law in order to qualify as a Solicitor-Advocate with rights of audience before all courts in England & Wales.
